Soul Mate Verses Life Mate Partner

What is meant by soul mate? Actually, a soul realized is complete in itself and has no need for the other. This term we use soul mate is really code words, which signify our deep desire to find a loving and fulfilling life-mate.

The problem using the words soul mate is that it also has the connotation of perfect and finding the one-and-only. This is unrealistic. This sets you up to finding someone who cannot live up to those unreal expectations and then leads to disappointment and dissatisfaction. Of course, then you need to go out and start all over again to find your new soul mate your newest one-and-only. The good news for you is that it is much more realistic (and easier) to find the right man/women that can bring you those qualities that provide a loving and completely satisfying relationship for life a life-mate.

It is important to know for yourself what is it you want in a relationship. When I say you, I mean on all levels; from the mental, emotional and to the spiritual what is it you truly want in a fulfilling relationship? What are the qualities in a man/women that you are looking for, and that are compatible to yours?

It is necessary to have similar interests and values as this provides a foundation to grow on. Ask yourself what are your priorities in a relationship (and life); measure them on a scale of one to ten, such things as communication, monogamy, commitment, children, spiritual path, and financial needs & values, etc. It is important to crystallize in your mind what it is you want and write it down, this helps to manifest it. The when you meet a man/women you are clear in what you want and will know within a short time whether he/she is compatible and has the potential for a rewarding life long relationship. Existence has many variables when it comes to relationships, there are many beautiful persons in the world that we could have a life-mate relationship with. A relationship is what we make it.

I see relationships as a classroom in our lives to learn about love and intimacy. Frequent and frank communication is an essential cornerstone in this relationship building process. (Yes, we all know this and yet this continues to be the most forgotten item among the thousands of people I have worked with, Emerson said, (People are more to be reminded than taught.)

We need to wake up out of the dream that the other has the sole responsibility to make us feel whole, to complete us and to fulfill our dreams. In a life-mate connection we open our hearts and surrender to love and in doing so we surrender the ego so that we can meet the other at a deep level. We let another touch us at the core of who we are and this allows intimacy to develop and grow.

Marriage – There is a tremendous desire and longing for love,
But that love needs great awareness.
Only then can it reach to it’s highest climax And that climax is Marriage.
Marriage is the merging of two hearts into totality.
It is the functioning of two persons in synchronicity. THAT IS MARRIAGE

Why Do We Have Intuition?

Intuition is to guide us and protect us.

Here are 10 tips on why we have and how intuition can be beneficial:

1) Guidance – Intuition is our inner directional guide. When needed, Intuition can point us in the direction we need to go. Intuition can show us the best route to take when there are many possible routes available to us.

“It is through science that we prove, but through intuition that we discover.”
— Jules Henri Poincare (1854 – 1912)

2) Protection – Intuition can alert us when something is not safe. We all have heard or experienced the sensation of the ‘hair on the back of our neck standing up’ letting us know that something is not right. A major part of listening to our intuition can help us to avoiding mistakes.

Intuition is useful as an early warning system to avoid possible dangerous situations. Our intuition works as a automatic self-defense mechanism.

“The power of intuitive understanding will protect you from harm until the end of your days.”  – Lao Tzu

3) Information – Intuition is an important way for receiving information.
It can simplify massive amounts of all kinds of information so that we
can determine the truly relevant pieces of information to work on.
Intuition especially is beneficial when having to sort out incomplete, ambiguous or conflicting information. Intuition can ‘see’ a troublesome situation as a whole, rather than different confusing fragments. You may get a flash of knowing or seeing to support your next step.

“There is no logical way to the discovery of these elemental laws. There is only the way of intuition, which is helped by a feeling for the order lying behind the appearance.” – Albert Einstein

4) Decision Making – Intuition can help us to make clearer and more useful decisions. Good decisions bring us progress towards things we want, more money, better relationships, success and happiness. Intuition aids us in avoiding poor decisions. Bad decisions lead to disappointment, confusion, loss of money, harmful relationships, suffering, failure and misery.

“We all possess something called “intuition”. It’s an inner “knowing’ which, when paid attention to, will help us make decisions and even prevent us from making mistakes!”  – Anita Foley

5) Change – When needed, our intuitive sense can help us make accurate fast paced changes.

Using your intuition and ‘Inner Knower’, once developed can help you in making on the spot decisions faster, from important decision making at your job, to simpler decision with shopping, family and friends.

“For making rapid needed changes, intuition is your best go-to advisor.”
– Anonymous

6) Checks and Balances – We recognize the need and value of checks and balances in our government, between the Executive branch, Legislative Branch and the Judicial Branch. Checks and balances prevent any one branch from accumulating too much power and encourage cooperation between branches.
The same is true for us.

Our intuition provides checks and balances from our and others thoughts and feelings, so that they don’t mislead or harm us.

Your intuition and ‘Inner Knower’ is in part there to take care of you and to remind you to have balance in your life.

“…Trust yourself to integrate intuition and experience. There is a balance, a harmony to be nurtured, between the head and the heart. When the intuition rings clear and true, loving impulses are favored.” – Brian L. Weiss

7) Learning  We all know that our education and continued learning process is vital to our development and success in life.
Intuition is a part of our education and learning function. Intuition points
the way to what to learn and how to learn it.

“The purpose of education is to enable us to develop to the fullest that which is inside us.” – Norman Cousins

8) Health – Along with your health professionals, using your intuition can aid you in better taking care of your health. Intuition helps you in making wise choices as to your diet, exercise, work and sleep routines.

Nirup’s Kitchen Plant Story

I have a small plant in my kitchen window, which faces east towards the rising sun. The plant has four green leaves and two pink leaves.
It’s a pretty plant. The leaves were all facing outside towards the sun. I was seeing just the backs of the leaves.

One day I decided that I wanted to look at the front of the leaves, so I turned the plant around towards the kitchen. Two days later the plant had twisted the stems of the leaves so they were facing the sun once again. My little six leaf plant and all other plants have the instinct to turn towards that which will nourish them. Our intuition is our inner navigational guide to direct us towards that, which will nourish us. Our intuitive sense is there to help us find nourishment in all areas of our life…for our personal health, healthy projects, people who support and nurture us, and even playful endeavors that will help balance us and keep us healthy.

9) Spiritual – Intuition can shows us our intended spiritual path and for our spiritual development. Intuition can help us to connect to our spirit guides.

Developing our intuition and our ‘Inner Knower’ can help us to get in touch with the deeper subtle energies within us and around us. In order to connect with our guides and angels we need to be sensitive to their energies and their messages.

“There is a spiritual hunger in the world today – and it cannot be satisfied by better cars on longer credit terms.” – Adlai E. Stevenson

10) Avoiding Mistakes – Our intuitive still small voice can tell us when not to do something or when to not be with someone. This can save us from a great deal of unnecessary difficulties, problems, hassles and heartaches. This allows us to have more time to work with those things that will be beneficial to us.

Mistake Example –
There are those who act in a counter-intuitive manner.
There are some 30,000 gangs in America with over 900,000 members. Being a gang member many times leads to being involved in criminal activities.

These illegal tendencies eventually will take them to their downfall, ruin or incarceration. There are currently more than 147,000 gang members in American prisons.

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors’ the servant and has forgotten the gift.” – Albert Einstein

“It is worthwhile in improving yourself to discover, listen to and act upon your intuition and inner knower.” – Nirup

About Intuition and Your Spiritual Awareness

About Intuition and Your Spiritual Awareness
by Nirup

Through the use of your intuition you can discover and become more aware of your own spirituality. From an overview position, you can look down on life and realize that only paying attention with the material aspects of living will lead to the end state of death. This is dead end way of thinking. Intuition is a deep inner resource concerned and attuned for your immediate and ultimate well being. This intuitive inner attunement is connected to the spiritual realm and can be a bridge for your awareness and consciousness to be also connected to your potential spiritual being. All this possible spiritual awareness and development depends on how you use your time and intelligence.

Your most valuable partner is time. Of course, we need time to exist, so time is most essential. The question is what are you doing with your most valuable resource of time? How are you making the most of your partner time? It’s one thing to survive and just exist with time and it is quite another thing to get ahead in life with your time.

For that, that is to succeed in life and make the most with time, you need and have another critically important partner and that partner is your intelligence. It all really boils down to how you are using your partners of intelligence and time. And the simple truth is, If you are making better use of your intelligence then you can make better use of your time. Makes sense doesn’t it? Yes, it does.

Now here is a reality check for you. Is your intelligence evolving? Can you improve your intelligence? Is your intelligence providing you with more opportunities and advantages? If we look at the life condition of most people, then the answer, sadly, is most likely no. Why no, because most people are not doing well, they are not getting ahead in their lives.

Now while time is with you it is also very separate from you. That is to say, you cannot change time, time is set. This is not true with your intelligence. Intelligence consists of thinking, feeling, and a strange mysterious facility called intuiting. It is in our nature to want to evolve, to be smart and successful.

And we can evolve, increase our intelligence and become more successful. This is only true if we are use and develop our analytical- deductive reasoning ability, use our emotional intelligence, and discover, develop and use our intuitive intelligence. Why did I include “intuitive intelligence”? I did, because our intuition is a part of our intelligence.

At the core of our intuition is our ‘inner knower’ and the source of our ‘inner knowing’. But, intuitive intelligence and inner knowing is different from our rational cognitive intelligence and different from our emotional intelligence. How so? If you want to think, you can think. If you wish to feel, you can feel. If you want to intuit, you can’t do it. How come? You can do thoughts and feelings because they are doings. If I want to know what I think about something, I do thinking. It’s simple. Same deal with feelings. If I wish to know how I feel about something, I go ahead and feel. It’s quite easy.

Intuition is not a doing, it is a receiving. This is why intuition seems so hard to do, because it is not a doing, it is a receptive ability. With thinking and feeling you go to them. With intuition it comes to you, but only under the right conditions and techniques. These conditions and techniques are what I refer to as the intuitive keys and triggers. Therefore, intuition is a completely separate different and unique process. Intuition requires a process of keys and triggers to provide the receiving of intuitive insights.

Intuition is an important part of your intelligence, but has been mostly forgotten, ignored or left undeveloped. Is it worth learning about and developing intuition? Most certainly and here’s why. Why do we have intuition? What can intuition do for you? (By the way, every culture that has a written language has a word for intuition. So, while intuition in misunderstood and seemingly inaccessible, intuition is recognized as existing.) Here is what intuition is for and how it can help you:

– Intuition is an inner directional guide. If allowed, it is within you to let you know ‘what to get” and ‘what to avoid’.
–  Intuition can point to the best path to follow.
–  Intuition can let you see the ‘big picture’ of something and discovering something new. This means it can provide an overall vision of the thing needed. Intuition is comfortable in leaving the details of how to do something to thoughts and feelings.
–  Intuition acts like a shortcut in knowing something faster and more accurately than our thoughts and feeling can tell us. Our intuition can, for example, when entering a new space let us instantly know if it’s a safe environment or a potential threat. And intuition can help, when meeting a new person, to know if they can be trusted or not.
–  Intuition helps to sort out large and varied amounts of information and distill the information down to the essential, most important and urgent items to consider and act upon.
–  Intuition fosters and supports creativity.
–  Intuition has the indication of just ‘knowing’ or having the quality of ‘knowingness’.

Intuition has a sustained calm confidence about its knowing when confronted with conflicting information or other people’s differing opinions.

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” – Albert Einstein

“It is always with excitement that I wake up in the morning wondering what my intuition will toss up to me, like gifts from the sea. I work with it and rely on it. It’s my partner.”
— Jonas Salk
(American medical researcher, best known for his discovery and development of the first safe and effective polio vaccine.)

Intuition and your spiritual awareness is indeed worth learning about, discovering and developing.

Tong-lin Practice – Compassion Meditation

Tong-lin (Giving and receiving) is a practice which is embraced by several schools of Tibetan Buddhism.

This is the method of compassion; drink in all the suffering and pour out all the blessings.

The moment you take in all the sufferings of the world inside you, they are no longer sufferings. The heart immediately transforms the energy. The heart is a transforming force; drink in the misery, and it is transformed into blissfulness…… then pour it out.

Visualize breathing in through the top of your crown, take in all the miseries and sufferings, of all the beings in the world. All the darkness, all the negativity, you are breathing it in; past – present – future, breath it in through the top of the crown and let it be absorbed in your heart.

When you breathe out, breath out from the heart center, all the joy that you have, all the blissfulness that you have, all the benediction, all the love, breath out, pour yourself into Existence.

You can use this practice with anyone or in any situation in your life, to release angry, hurt, fear, aloneness, etc. Breath in through the top of the crown, and let the feelings, emotions, along with the breath flow down into the heart, breath in, and allow these emotions to be absorbed in the heart, transformed and then breath out through the heart, breath out love, joy, happiness, harmony, forgiveness.

Wisdom Verses Knowledge

Wisdom does not come from knowledge, it comes from love. Wisdom has nothing to do with logic but it has everything to do with love. Knowledge depends on logic and knowledge can give you a false notion of being, because knowledge is imitative. You can repeat beautiful saying of Jesus, the beatitude, and if you go on repeating them long enough you will start believing, you will auto-hypnotise yourself by constant repetition. You will start thinking, as if you know, and you don’t know at all.

Jesus is talking from the heart and you are learning from the head — and the difference is vast. The difference is almost unbridgeable, it is so vast. Knowledge is cheap, easily available. One can just go on sitting in a library and go on collecting knowledge. Man has so great a memory that it is said a single man’s memory system can contain all the libraries of the world. No computer has been yet evolved which can really compete with man’s memory system. It is almost unlimited and it can create such a great illusion of being wise.

Wisdom is a totally different phenomenon. It comes through love, it grows in the heart, it is a heart flower.
